Creative agency collective Platform6 is reported to have announced, according to FashionUnited, the acquisition of Without Production, a Milan-based company specialising in the design and production of fashion shows. Founded in 1999 by Gabriella Mazzei, the company has established itself, according to the same source, as one of the most respected event production studios in Italie.
Without Production has worked for houses such as Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton and Ferrari, designing and staging fashion shows and special events in Italie and abroad. Gabriella Mazzei claims more than 1,000 high-end events produced around the world, including Valentino's autumn 2022 couture show on the Spanish Steps in Rome, the autumn 2023 couture collection at the Château de Chantilly with Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Alessandro Michele's first show for Gucci in January 2015. Its remit covers defining the concept and venue in collaboration with the creative director, selecting teams and logistics, through to managing guests and backstage operations. The agency has also expanded its expertise into the automotive, food and beauty sectors.
Founded in 2024, Platform6 already brings together Marcadé and Superbien, an agency specialising in the creation of moving images founded in 2009. With Without Production, the group would integrate show management into its know-how for the first time, while consolidating its presence in Paris, New York, Shanghai, Dubaï, Monaco and now Milan.

"L'arrivée de Without Production dans notre groupe démontre notre engagement de longue date en faveur de l'excellence et de la créativité", François Marcadé, chairman of Platform6 and also the founder of his own agency in 1989, is reported to have said. Xavier Marin, chairman of the investment fund SLAM (Sport, Luxury, Art and Music), managed by Trail, and majority shareholder of Platform6, is also named among the group's leaders.
The name Platform6 is said to refer to the sixth art, that of the performing arts, an identity that this acquisition would reinforce by adding the dimension of fashion shows. According to the information provided, Without Production would retain its current identity and operational structure to continue serving its clients, while benefiting from the group's resources and standards to support its growth in Italie and abroad. As part of the agreement, Gabriella Mazzei would become a shareholder of Platform6. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
