Tiffany Salmon-Mills, founder and CEO of Glow Hub and also creative director at family manufacturer Amelia Knight, is reportedly launching a new brand, BYORBE, according to Cosmetics Business. The brand would be available from 2 November on byorbe.com, with two products designed to work together.
L'idée would reportedly have been born when Salmon-Mills found herself unable to recommend an existing lip treatment she was asked about. She is said to have observed that skincare has seen major innovation in recent years, while lips would remain an often-neglected aspect of product development.
BYORBE would not be limited to hydration: the brand would act as a barrier protecting the lip area against aggressive active ingredients from skincare routines, as well as against the effects of treatments such as Roaccutane or aesthetic procedures. « Il n'existe rien pour traiter les lèvres et les protéger de tout ce qu'on leur fait subir », Salmon-Mills would explain. She would emphasise a « barrière d'abord » approach, given that lip skin is thinner and more vulnerable than facial skin.
The products would reportedly already be available for pre-order ahead of the official launch.
