MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are unveiling a new collection as part of their footwear collaboration, launched in 2022, according to FashionUnited France. The two brands are announcing two successive drops, the first on 22 October and the second on 17 November.

The partnership between the two houses has lasted four years. It was strengthened earlier this year when Heikki Salonen, MM6 designer, was named creative director of Salomon.

The first drop reintroduces the XT-MM6 in three new colourways and updates the ACS Pro 3 in two new shades. It comes with a new model, the MM6 Crossderby, which combines a classic derby-style upper in glossy black leather with an outdoor sole and Salomon's cord lacing system.

This first release also includes the return of the XT-15 backpack, now featuring a white rain cover with a black logo.

The second drop, scheduled for 17 November, will showcase the MM6 XT-Boot. The model can be worn open at the calf, like a boot, or tightened closer to the leg, offering two distinct uses depending on the context.

The collaboration, launched in 2022, thus continues with these two new drops.
