The Karl Lagerfeld brand would be partnering with Mexican developer Grupo Bosque Real to develop its first residential complex in Latin America, according to FashionUnited UK. The project would be located in Huixquilucan, Mexico, and its inauguration was held in Mexico City on 8 October.
The complex would comprise 73 residences spread across a 38-storey tower, including two penthouses and one ground-floor apartment. Each apartment would offer a surface area of more than 475 square metres, with three bedrooms and large private terraces. The main lobby would house a monumental library in brushed stainless steel, standing 9.71 metres tall, conceived as a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld's passion for books.

A partnership driven by management
Pier Paolo Righi, chief executive officer of Karl Lagerfeld, explains in a statement that "notre partenariat avec Grupo Bosque Real nous donne l'opportunité de traduire la perspective distinctive de Karl dans un tout nouveau contexte, avec notre premier projet résidentiel en Amérique latine". The interior design of the project was overseen by Caroline Lebar, creative director of interior design at Karl Lagerfeld.

An extension of the brand's real estate portfolio

Completion of the project is scheduled for early 2029. It would add to the brand's international residential portfolio, which already includes developments in Lisbonne, Marbella, Dubaï and Ras Al Khaimah. The brand had also opened a luxury hotel in Macao, China, in June 2023.
The Karl Lagerfeld brand belongs to G-III Apparel Group.
