The Parisian fashion house Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with American shoe brand G.H. Bass for a capsule dedicated to the penny loafer, designed for autumn-winter 2026. The collection includes seven styles for men and women.

The collaboration coincides with two anniversaries for the American shoemaker: the 150th anniversary of G.H. Bass, founded in Maine in 1876, and the 90th anniversary of its Weejuns penny loafer, launched in 1936.

For this capsule, Karl Lagerfeld has reworked the penny loafer silhouette with its own stylistic codes. The model comes in three versions: polished black, a contrasting black-and-white design, and a black edition embossed with tone-on-tone Karl Lagerfeld Icon motifs. Each pair features a silver-toned K/Autograph piece inserted into the loafer's traditional slot, a nod to the model's signature detail.

The Karl Lagerfeld x G.H. Bass collection will be distributed in Karl Lagerfeld boutiques, on both brands' websites, and through selected wholesale partners.
