FaiveleyTech inaugurated its new Orgelet plant, in Jura, dedicated to the activities of its Beauté business unit, on 15 October 2026, according to Premium Beauty News. The investment amounts to €15 million.
The site now brings together 100 employees within a single industrial environment, combining production, design office, warehouse, quality and support functions. The project, whose first administrative steps date back to 2022, saw groundworks and foundation work begin in April 2024. The relocation of operations to the new site started in May 2026.
Doubled capacities
The new industrial facility is expected to increase FaiveleyTech Orgelet's assembly and decoration capacity by 100%, and its plastic injection capacity by 30%. The site includes a 2,000 m² injection workshop, equipped with presses ranging from 50 to 320 tonnes, as well as an assembly workshop of the same size, organised around 12 lines dedicated to assembly, bonding and decoration. A storage capacity of 1,500 pallets completes the facility.
Conçue according to Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication (BPF) principles, the plant incorporates enhanced requirements in terms of hygiene, contamination control, traceability and process control.
Volet environnemental
The site has a photovoltaic installation, commissioned in September 2026, whose output is expected to cover on average the equivalent of 25% of the plant's annual energy consumption. FaiveleyTech is also relying on heat recovery from compressors to help heat the building in winter.
The press fleet is already 77% electric, with a target of 100% by 2030. Dix-huit electric vehicle charging points have also been installed on site. Construction was preceded by environmental studies covering wildlife, flora and wetlands, and ecological monitoring is planned for 15 years.
This approach is part of the group's sustainability policy, formalised in June 2026. « Cette nouvelle usine nous permet aujourd'hui de franchir une nouvelle étape : renforcer nos capacités, développer nos savoir-faire et accompagner plus largement les marques de Beauté avec des solutions premium, innovantes et plus durables », said Nicolas Alloin, chairman of FaiveleyTech, and Christophe Skibine, director of BU Beauté.
