According to Premium Beauty News, the Bogart group is said to have sold 100% of the capital of its Israeli subsidiary April Cosmetics and Perfumes Store Chain Ltd to April Holding D.K Ltd, a company owned by David Konckier, who is both PDG and the principal shareholder of Bogart. L'opération is said to have been approved by Bogart's board of directors on 12 October 2026.
The amount of the transaction is said to be equivalent to around 5.8 million euros, or 20.147 million Israeli shekels. This price is said to be based on a valuation of April Ltd of 35 million shekels, around 10 million euros, reduced by the company's net financial debt as of 1 September 2026, that is 14.853 million shekels, around 4.3 million euros.
The transaction is said to have been carried out by Jacques Bogart International B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bogart SA. It should also allow cash to flow back up to the level of Bogart SA, according to Premium Beauty News. Given David Konckier's interest in the operation, it is said to have been submitted to the related-party transaction procedure. The executive is said to have informed the board of directors of his interest and is said not to have taken part in the vote.
A network of 47 stores
April is present in Israël through a network of 47 stores as of 30 June 2026, and is said to have generated revenue of 36.7 million euros in 2025, according to figures cited by Premium Beauty News.
David Konckier is also said to be in discussions with the Hong Kong conglomerate CK Hutchison with a view to acquiring the perfumery chain Marionnaud, again according to the same source.
